This year at the Open edX Conference Nate Aune, Founder & CEO of Appsembler, gave a lightning talk that poses the question: How we can make online learning more hands-on?
The classroom has flipped. We know now that a more interactive learning model creates better results. However, even though we have the power of the internet and all of technology at our fingertips, when delivering online courses we often simply adopt the traditional sit-and-watch-a-lecture model and put it on a computer screen.
